Generalized Anxiety Disorder  Obsessive Compulsive Disorder  Specific Phobia  Social phobia  Panic Disorder Anxiety Physical Cognitive Behavioral Im going to fail and be humiliated This is never going to stop Leaving or avoiding a situation Poor concentration, excessive movements Fidgetiness Sweating, Pounding heart, dizziness Panic Disorder Without Agoraphobia is characterized by recurrent unexpected Panic Attacks about which there is persistent concern.  Panic Disorder With Agoraphobia is characterized by both recurrent unexpected Panic Attacks and Agoraphobia.  Panic Attack intense anxiety reactions accompanied by physical symptoms, feelings of terror or imminent danger, and urge to escape the situation Panic attack - episode of fear or discomfort in which at least 4 of the following features develop suddenly and reach a peak within 10 minutes: Rapid heart rate Sweating Trembling or shaking Shortness of breath/smothering Choking Chest pain Nausea or abdominal distress Dizziness or faintness Feelings of unreality Fear of losing control or going crazy Fear of dying Numbness or tingling sensations Chills or hot flushes Pharmacological treatment Antidepressant drugs normalize activity of neurotransmitters in the brain SSRIs, Tricyclics, Benzodiazepine Typically used to treat depression, but have positive effects...
