STUDY GUIDE for AHA Certification: BLS for Health Care Providers You will be asked to demonstrate the following skills: Adult CPR Adult Compressions Adult Breaths With Mask Adult Compressions and Breaths Adult Assessment Adult Rescue Breathing With Bag Mask Adult 2-Rescuer CPR  Adult 2-Rescuer CPR and AED  Adult 2-Rescuer CPR With an Advanced Airway Child CPR Sequence Infant 1-Rescuer CPR  Infant Compressions Infant 2-Rescuer CPR  - Chest compressions should be done at the rate of 100 per minute for a victim of any age. - Take the weight off your hands and allow the chest to come back to the normal position between each compression. This allows the chest to recoil which allows blood to return to the heart after each compression. - Use the head tilt-chin lift to open an unresponsive victim’s away. - The best way to give mouth to mouth breaths is to make a good seal over the victim’s mouth and give 2 breaths, watching for the chest rise. -
