Discussion Question: Self-Paced vs Instructor-Paced Math Course Two versions of a math course were offered. One was a self-paced, independent study course to be completed within the semester. The other was a regular classroom course, paced by the instructor, also completed within the semester. Results showed that students taking the self- paced, independent study course scored higher on the final exam than those taking the classroom, instructor-paced course.
