Ryan Wisneski Due: November 12 th , 2009 AML2600 From “The Autobiography of Malcom X” Response Quote: Picking a lock to rob someone’s house was the only way my knees had ever bent before This quote in which Malcolm X is talking about his journey to become a strongly practicing African American Muslim, gives you a look inside his head. This quote tells a lot about the character of Malcolm x and shows that he has a serious problem with being submissive and showing respect. It also allows you to see inside his head and really take the journey with him in his transformation from a rebel to someone who can lead an entire race by following.

Malcolm X also says Of evil to bend its knew, admitting its guilt, to implore the forgiveness of god, is the hardest thing in the world. This quote also tells a lot about his personality and gives a reader inside into how cocky and confident Malcolm X was to the point that he thought he was too good to admit he was wrong. This quote really caught my eye because it shows a huge flaw in Malcolm Xs character that I believe leads to his ultimate demise....
