Contact FNR Student services for assessment tools. • Begin to develop a relationship with staff in the FNR Office of Student Services (OSS). • Visit the Center for Career Opportunities (CCO) to find out what services they provide. • Find and explore the CCO and FNR Career Services Web sites. Begin the habit of reading the weekly career e-newsletter, and reviewing the job postings on the FNR Web site. • Develop a resume. Contact Shelly Opperman for assistance. • Become involved in student organizations and activities on and off campus. Attend the Ginkgo Gathering and Gala in September and join the organization for your major. • Do your best academically. A strong GPA will benefit you in your job search. • Explore majors and careers that relate to your interests, values, and skills.
