AGEC 217 Final Exam Essay questions Fall 09 Taylor Friday, Dec. 4 in class. The exam counts 25% of your grade and consists of two questions from the list below, counting 50 percent and 25 multiple-choice questions, counting 50 percent of the final. How does our inflation rate compare with inflation over the last 20 years? Why do we have it? Explain what can be done about it and whose responsibility it is. How effective will these treatments be? Explain why deflation is a real problem. 2. Why are people unemployed? How much unemployment do we have now? How does our unemployment rate compare with unemployment over the last 20 years? Explain whether or not there could be an increase in both employment and unemployment from one month to the next. Explain what can be done about unemployment and who should do it.
