Experience and brain development a. Adult brain can be modified by experience b. Rats raised in enriched environments have more synapses and greater blood supply c. In experiments separating effects of exercise vs. learning i. Rats that get learning experience develop more neural connections ii. Rats that get exercise develop greater neural blood supply
