All organotin(IV) complexes ( 2-7) have been characterized by 1 elemental analyses, molar conductivity, UV-Visible, IR and H NMR spectral studies. The organotin(IV) complexes (2-7) are non-electrolytic in nature. The crystal structure of ligand (1) has also been determined by X-ray crystallography diffraction analyses. The ligand (1) and its organotin(IV) complexes (2-7) have also been tested for their toxicity and anti -termitic potential and found to be moderately active against Artemia salina and Captotermes sp.
