Assignment 5 This assignment focuses on admissibility of evidence from Chapter 4.  As a litigation paralegal,  you may be instructed to prepare a witness list and to prepare a log of evidence to be offered at  trial.  Refer to the Chapter Exercises at the end of Chapter 4.   Complete number 4 a-h.  Prepare an evidence log containing a list of each piece of evidence,  whether it is admissible under the Texas Rules of Evidence, and how the piece of evidence will  be authenticated (example: through a particular witness or self-authenticating)  You should  review  Rules 401-411, 901, 902,  and 801 – 806 of the Texas Rules of Evidence (located from  the Texas Supreme Court Website – click on Rules and Standards then find the ling for the  Rules of Evidence).  If the item is inadmissible, state the applicable rule and discuss why it is  inadmissible.  Additionally, for f and g, prepare a Business Records Affidavit using ProDoc. (hint – look under  Litigation) Assume the affidavit is to be signed by the custodian of the records for Navarro
