Legal Infraction at Cragun’s Resort 2 Legal Infraction at Cragun’s Resort An interview can create different emotions and feelings in different people. But no one wants to feel as if their rights have been violated or that there has been an intrusion into their private life. Employers have certain guidelines that should be followed during an interview. These guidelines are governed by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). EEOC laws exist to ensure all individuals have the right to compete for all work opportunities without bias because of their race, color, religion, sex, age, marital status, or other characteristic. (Arthur, 2006) This was not the case with Michael Wolfe. Michael Wolfe was an employee of Cragun's Resort. He worked in the kitchen, while at work he fell and injured his back. After visiting the doctor's visit, Michael was put on light duty with no driving. After a few days, the doctor told him that the driving restriction
