Unformatted text preview: In Class assignment week 1: Okay, so at the end of the class we were split into groups and given a topic to ponder and make a list of what comes to mind when we think of for that topic. My group got "Apples". This is some of the things we came up with: Candy apples Shining apples Apple pie Bobbing for apples Apple cider Apple juice Cinnamon Cores Crispy Juicy Worms Green apples Yellow apples Red apples Baked apples Apple crisp Apples on the ground (grass) Picking apples We were given 25 minutes to think of things. After that we were sent back to our seats to come up with something for that topic, whether that was a short story, a news broadcast, a comic strip, anything that came to mind. Story: I remember when I was a child, helping my father on my grandfather's farm, picking apples right off the tree and eating them. Now we weren't supposed to eat the apples of course. We were supposed to drop them in the appropriate bushel. A bushel with no holes, at least two handles, and able to hold a full load.
