Servant Leadership in Diverse Contexts2IntroductionServant leadership is a common identity and practice among many different cultures as well as other religions, granted each culture as well as religion practice has their version of servant leadership with common traits as well as contrasting traits. When looking at different cultures and how they use and or practice servant leadership, the European culture will be analyzed as well as the religion of Hinduism. This paper will take a deep dive into the similarities and differences that the other religion has to servant leadership as well as the other culture has to servant leadership. Servant LeadershipBefore we talk about other cultures as well as another religion compared to servant leadership, we must define servant leadership and learn about all of the coordinating aspects. According to, Kiker, D. S., Scully Callahan, J., & Kiker, M. B. (2019). Exploring the Boundaries of Servant Leadership, “The Servant Leader is servant first...It begins with the natural feeling that one wants to serve, to serve first. Then conscious choice brings one to aspire to lead... The best test, and difficult to administer”. Some of the aspects servant leadership include relationship building, well-being of the followers, leaders need to serve the followers, individualized attention and finally servant leaders use their good to help others outside of the company meaning they are helping the community a lot serving others besides themselves. The European Culture The main reason European culture was chosen to be analyzed, was that Europe has so many different countries and cultures within it as well as a lot of history as to what makes
