Psychological disorders are becoming more prevalent over society as the years go by. One of the most common psychological disorders is called Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD). This disorder affects about 5 percent of the human population and affects more boys than girls. Symptoms of ADHD are universal and this disorder is diagnosed in childhood. Many theorists believe ADHD is caused by biological factors, psychological factors, social factors or a combination of the three. Current trends show children are being diagnosed more often with ADHD. Current treatments include therapies and psycho stimulant drugs, but research is ever on the rise. Scientists, researchers, psychologists and theorists alike are constantly looking for more information, causes, symptoms and treatments of Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder.
