Unformatted text preview: we observed that three of the mixtures formed insoluble and one that didnt. In mixture 1, the pea-sized solid was white and hard in appearance. Mixture 2 gave us a little more of a cloudy white, opaque, jelly-like precipitate. In mixture 3, another pea-sized amount of a white, chalky precipitate was found at the bottom. In the last one, there was no insoluble, so boiling it evaporated the water, and left us with a small amount of salt....
