International Business Professor Monty Becoming marketable is an essential part when competing for the best jobs.  Dictionary.com defines marketable as fit to be offered for sale.  This translated to a  person means being fit to be offered for hire.  The more the employer sees the  candidate fitting the mold for the company, the more chances the candidate has to be  hired.  Professionally, there are many ways I can make myself more marketable to the  eyes of the business world.   The resume is one of the first things an employer looks at when he/she is hiring  new employees.   In order to catch the attention of the employer, who could end up  sorting through hundreds, I must make my document stand out.   I have to ensure that I  am qualified in all areas needed for the job.  This could range from my academics, to my  leadership qualities, to my extracurricular activities.  These areas must make me stand
