Question : Explain how freedoms for African Americans were socially, politically, and economically limited from 1865 to 1900? Socially- Some social limitations that African Americans were limited included reasons such as the Jim Crow laws and the Black Codes. The Jim Crow laws are significant because they made it so the African Americans are completely separated from the whites. The two races were separated and had to use different restrooms, hospitals, schools, and restaurants. The Black Codes impacted the African Americans socially because they restricted the freedoms of American Americans, and compelled them to work for lower wages.
