Unformatted text preview: l Age of onset between 28-58 years l No co-morbid conditions like atherosclerosis or myocardial infarction. l Willing to participate 2/23/11 Method SBP was measured by Sphygmomanometer at baseline. l Participants were divided into 2 groups: Treatment group Control group l Treatment group received aerobic exercise for 12 months. l Control group did not receive any exercise. 2/23/11 Treatment group Exercise protocol: Total of 40 minutes 10 minutes warm up 20 minutes brisk walking 10 minutes cool down period l SBP was measured after 6 and 12 months. 2/23/11 Mixed design was used to compare SBP in treatment and control group at baseline, 6 months and 12 months in treatment group l Reasons- Design allows to analyze repeated measures and between group differences 2/23/11 Results...
