The clock strikes six o’clock in the morning. People rise out of their beds and read the newspapers. They see an advertisement for their favorite store. They quickly grab their wallets, as they get inside their cars. They race to the mall and park as close to the entrance as possible. As they run to their favorite stores, they clamor through the halls, carelessly pushing their fellow shoppers out of their way. As they finally reach the finish line, they smile at the “75% off” signs and ferociously grab items off the shelves and into their carts. This scenario outlines what every company or store would love to have. These organizations utilize advertisement to make the public aware of the cheap and advantageous sales that can help them save money. Advertising positively fosters free trade and promotes prosperity to all consumers. The American Red Cross advertises in the newspaper, at high schools, and hospitals alike. They use the slogan, “Together, we can save a life”. This particular
