Samantha Schwartz April 13 , 2008 Performance Project Theatre 110 “A Doll’s House”- Actress: Nora When first learning looking at the list of plays that we would have to do for our Performance Project , I knew I wanted to do “A Doll’s House.” I had been familiar with the play because I had read it in High School and right off the bat I knew that I wanted to play the role of Nora . I always found her to be such an interesting character and someone that I would love to get to know . What better way of doing that, than playing her character in a performance? I knew the role was going to be tough , but I also knew that by using all the techniques that we had learned throughout this course that I would hopefully somehow pull off my performance . The role of Nora, in the play “A Doll’s House” was an experience for me that has impacted my life . An actor by definition is a theatrical performer; one who takes the part . Because the scene we chose to do did not have that many characters from the play in it , another group member and myself decided to share the part of Nora . Both of us worked together in making our performances
