Self-Management Behavioral Contract 2 Goal: To limit the amount of shopping on clothing I do each week. I like to shop. Every week I spend anywhere from thirty to a hundred dollars on clothing, some weeks I will spend more. I buy what I like, and come up with an excuse to why I need what I am buying. I may tell myself that I’ll never find a certain scarf again or that these shoes will never be this cheap again, and then I buy. A few weeks later I will see the scarf again or a similar pair of shoes that are the same cheap price. I shop because I feel I need to. Shopping takes me away from all my problems, my shopping is almost my little reward system. Too often I feel unappreciated for work I do and by buying myself something I am appreciating my work on my own. Shopping makes me feel good but it is a problem.
