Management Planning of PECO - 2 - PECO’s management planning involves every part of the business model from employees to community. Management is responsible for company’s goals and achievements, and it’s accomplished through planning process. Every business is impacted by several legal, ethics, and social issues; a management team has to keep company’s integrity throughout any of these problems. PECO’s strategic, tactical, operational and contingency planning is influence through many aspects. This paper will provide in-depth information on PECO management process which maintains company’s achievements. Planning is one of the four functions of management. There are three levels of management that control the different levels of planning; strategic, tactical, and operational. top level management includes, the General Counsel and Vice President Regulatory associations has leadership accountability for the legal functions of PECO, manages the PECO legal funds and manages federal regulatory matters within PECO, as well as is accountable for regulatory affairs, including allocation and transmission pricing and association with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Vice President, External Affairs is accountable for corporate supervision of external affairs, including relationships with chosen officials, and of promotion and energy services. The Senior Vice President and the Chief Financial Officer have prime responsibility for all financial issues linked to PECO, reporting straight to the President of PECO to guarantee the accomplishment of PECO’s financial and strategic objectives. The Senior Vice President and the Chief Operating Officer administer the resources and actions associated to the entire management of PECO electric and gas business, including; full liability for congregation all financial, customer, operational and
