THE OFFICIAL LANGUAGE MOVEMENT 2 The Official Language Movement Hispanic-Americans: an under-represented group in American politics This article talks about how Hispanics are the fastest growing groups in the United States, but are still under-represented in the United States political institutions. Hispanics have such large numbers here in the United States, which makes it very important to vote so they can get represented better. In most Hispanic communities, it is important to have Bilingual Education, this ensures that children that don’t know the entire English language don’t fall behind in school or drop out.
