1 Guidance 45 27 November, 2018 Taking the True Colors test, it has opened my eyes to all sorts of careers that may or may not be suitable for me. The color I got from the True Colors test was green. According to the True Color website, green symbolizes someone seeking knowledge and understanding. For the people who need answers to their questions, who have integrity and intelligence. I feel that this does describe me. I like to know how people got the answer when I couldn’t. Plenty of the careers that were selected for me were very interesting. Some of these careers are careers that I’ve never even heard of before or even knew they existed. Like being an enologist is something I’ve never even heard of. An enologist is a person who studies wine. This particular career surprised me because I’ve never even thought about having a profession that has to do with wine. Even though I’ve never drank it, wine has never intrigued me to study as a lifetime career. Regardless of being given some careers that don’t really interest me, I’ve learned to be open minded. Maybe I will find a career that I find very engaging to me and it may not be something that I have ever considered studying. With this information, I find it very helpful because True Colors gives me alternative careers that I may be interested in fulfilling. A career that was most appealing to me from the True Color website was a veterinarian. Becoming a veterinarian is something that I would love to accomplish because not only are you saving animals lives, but also because everyday is different. Every animal brings in something new. You are tending to cure animals from diseases, complications, and so many other things. To become a veterinarian, you are required to complete the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
