Definition (introduction) Tabaski, Muslim event called Aid El-Kebir. Important religious holiday celebrated by Muslim worldwide to commemorate the willingness of Abraham (Ibrahim) to sacrifice his son Ishmael (Ismael) as an act of obedience to god, but instead was able by God’s command to sacrifice a ram. Tabaski is a one day event that is located one month sharp after the end of the Ramadan. Audience and Perspective For outsiders who don’t know anything about the event. For those who have no knowledge about Senegal and the way we celebrate it there. Before reading my essay, the audience may be convinced that slaughtering animals is amoral and they might strongly be against it. I will have to provide plausible and logical definitions and explanations of that event as a whole. Try to convince the audience that the highlight on this holiday is not the slaughtering part but all the things happening at once before and after that make that day special in Senegal. While reading audience should switch their focus from the slaughter part to everything
