Various Articles from recent issues of The Journal of Economic Perspectives Description: Basic factors of price and distribution theory: analysis of demand, costs of production and supply relationships, and price and output determination under various market structures. Grading: Mid-Term = 30% Final = 40% Problem Sets = 10% Presentation = 15% Participation = 5% The grade you earn this semester will be determined by how well you perform on 2 exams, 5 problem sets, a 15 minute presentation and your participation in class discussions. Problem Sets: There will be 5 problem sets and since I believe teaching each other is an integral part of learning all problem sets must be completed in groups of 2-4.
