Jabbaar Evans Ethics and The Business Professional Dr. Richard Bergstrom, Sr. Application project 2 PHI-384 February 02, 2011 I have several key passages in my life that have in one form or another shaped my life for the good and for the bad. The most important key passage I would like to talk about is the decision to join the Army in 1996. The main reason for me joining the Army was due to lack of preparation and honestly a lack of a career goal. I skated all the way through high school taking everything for granted. When other kids were taking their SAT’s, I was still dazed and confused about career goal or opportunities. To put it frankly, I just didn’t care. The turning point was when my mother and father got divorced while I was in my senior year of school. My mother went this way and father went that way, it totally three me for a loop. I already had no clue what I was doing after school and now I decided that school didn’t matter anymore. For the most part of my senior year I would make periodic attendance at school.
