Jabbaar Evans Ethics and The Business Professional Dr. Richard Bergstrom, Sr. PHI-384 February 21, 2011 My personal power profile revealed a Reward score of 4.25, the Coercive score was 1.5, the Legitimate and Referent scores were a solid 4, and the Expert score ranked 4.5. The answers to the list of questions did surprise me, especially the expert score; as a person’s character has always been rather important to me, I consider this essential. The way in which a person conducts themselves regardless of the fact the he or she may or may not possess a college degree; has no reflection on which they truly represent. I have increased my self-understanding by consistently reminding myself to refrain from having tunnel vision and to simply think that people have to agree with my beliefs. I must always maintain an open-mind; this will allow me to agree to disagree with individuals; in a productive, non confrontational, positive conflict resolution, respectable manner. I have learned from this assessment, that I place value on respect for others. I can now
