Homosexual Unhappiness Not Due to Social Conditions because they are forced to live “in the closet” and not because of evolutionary facts. - But in countries that have less homophobia, homosexuals do not report being happier (as evaluated by distress). If homosexuality is intrinsically “unhappiness” producing, then we should expect no difference in the cases. - Causal? See board for not about causal claims. ..... - Problem: If we don't assume homosexuals are unhappy, why would we expect anything different? - There just is nothing there to explain in the first place!
