Modern humans are social; most scientists think human ancestors were also social. Provide one reason to support this. Sociality among humans is a behavioral trait, and like most behavioral traits, they evolve. Evolution acts in ways to promote the accumulation of adaptive traits and behaviors and maintain their predominance. Sociality, like other behaviors systems, occurs when the appropriate stimuli is presented, and in the case of humans being social, behaving socially is a response to selective pressures with greater benefits than costs. diet; predator avoidance through dilution effect; the want to help others and memory of past actions 2.
