Sofia Medeiros Chap 2 1- According to the instructor in the video, the primary reason that business should act ethically is the well-being of the individual officers and directors of the corporation, as well as to the welfare of the firms’ employees and various stockholders in the entity’s well- being. 2- The two approches to ethical reasoning are Corporate Citizenship and Stakeholder Approach. The Corporate Citizenship brings a theory of social responsibility that argues that corporations should behave as good citizens by promoting goal that that society deem worthwhile and taking positive steps toward solving social problems.

Unformatted text preview: The Stakeholder Approach has the reasoning behind this stakeholder view is that in some circunstances, one or more of these other groups may have a greater stake in company decisions than the shareholders do. 3- The statement makes sense, but at the same time I dont think it is the correct way to act. A lot of people act unethicaly for being more costly, creating this way a competitive advantage, but acting like this it will probably harm someone else, for that reason, even not getting the biggest profit, people should always act ethicaly....
