Medeiros 1 Sofia Medeiros BUS 302 Dr. Crumpacker 4 th April, 2009 The main subject of the article I choose to present is that women are safer drivers than men, which means that the analysis of risks indicates that men are involved in more accidents that cause death than women per mile. Besides this subject, the article also talks about other analyses, such as the safest region for drivers, the safest passenger profile, the most dangerous age of drivers, the safest situation, motorcycles risks of accident and finally the safer and the most dangerous time to drive. I found it was a really interesting article because it provides analyses that contradict what a lot of people think about car accidents, and also contains types of analyses that I had never heard before, like the safest time to drive, which is at 8 a.m. when the fewest deaths per mile driven are mostly because the roads are so clogged with traffic and teenage drivers are in school. The article was wrote by the co-author Paul Fischbeck, a Carnegie Mellon
