Deborah Coleman ISM 5026-2 Unit 1 - Homework In this day and age you have the ability to customize a computer and not have to just take on of the cookie cutter computers that were the only option a few years back. There are several e-tailers that will allow you to customize a computer to fit your needs. These e-tailers consist of Dell, Compaq, and Apple to name just a few. Per the assign- ment I logged onto Dell’s website and searched for a computer that would meet my needs. The computer that I choose was actually a laptop. I choose the Dell Inspiron 17 laptop. The laptop had a 17.3” LCD screen with 16.9 aspect ratio. The CPU in the laptop is an Intel Pentium Dual core processor, which had a speed of 2.0Ghz/800MHz. The RAM size listed on the computer was 2GB shared dual channel DDR2 at 800MHz. Storage capacity or hard drive listed on the laptop was a 160GB SATA Hard drive, which runs at 5400 RPM. The list price on this computer is $499. This of course was a stock laptop that had no modifications. After reviewing the laptop listed above, I went on to trying to customize the laptop into
