Everyone who saw him thought what a pious man he is and he must be very close to God. The man's ego really liked what he was hearing and he turned around and said, I am also fasting. 'Ali was injured in one the battles and the doctors tried to take the arrow out of his leg. The prophet himself said wait until 'Ali stands for prayer and then do it.
