PART FOUR Five gas station theories of the world o Japan Many people wait on you o America do it all yourself o Western European less people to do it for you o developing country broken infrastructure, people not helpful o communist cheap, but all sold on black market, not everyone puts in work o everyone being pushed towards America even if they don’t like it Americanization-globalization o Gives people an incentive to hate America o Creates a national security threat to America Reasons why minorities or big majorities would rebel against system o Too hard Countries clogged and hard to take on globalization Japan In order to avoid stagnation communist economy will have to be privatized Must go through social, political, and cultural adjustments in order to be economic power again Russia Cannot see Russia as anything other than Soviet Union China Needs more foreign investment o Too connected
