Includes the recording, summarization and adjusting of financial transactions and the basic accounting cycle. Explores the preparation and presentation of the basic financial statements; income statement, retained earnings statement, balance sheet and the statement of cash flows. Includes accounting principles and concepts, asset and liability valuation. Required Materials: Financial Accounting , 5th edition by Kimmel, Weygandt, Kieso,John Wiley & Sons. Optional: Student Study Guide for the above text.
