We are surrounded by all types of addictions. AUD IENCE MOT IVAT ION: Are you an addict? Or someone you may know an addict? I can answer that shortly, but first let me tell you a little about my struggle with addiction. CRED IB I L I TY: I was raised in a middle class home. I went to private school. I was very advanced academically. Then, at the age of 13 I t ried alcohol for the first time. How little did I know at that time; it was the beginning of a 12 year career in one hardship to the next. PURPOSE: Regardless of what it is someone is addicted to, I want you to leave here tonight knowing addictions come in many forms, and being an addict is not necessarily a bad thing....
