Elements  of the formal report Formal reports are  highly structured highly structured .  They require graphic elements such as logos,  bolding, chunked paragraphs, lines to delineate elements, bullets, and if applicable  graphs or charts. Formal Reports are often aimed at more than one  audience .  Who is your audience  for this report?  Consider this carefully in light of what you know about the course. Formal reports contain certain  required elements required elements :  Front matter, Body, and back  matter.  For this report,  rather than submit  BOTH  rather than submit  BOTH an executive summary and  an abstract,  provide one or the other provide one or the other. Your textbook labels the Works Cited as “REFERENCES”.  In MLA (which we are  using),  use  the term WORKS CITED!  use  the term WORKS CITED!
