o general history, business, mission, and objectives of the organization. Steaksmith is a independently owned and operated restaurant located on Academy Blvd, CO springs CO. The building was originally used as a water plant, and then modified into Guiseppes Pizza. In 1981 it was purchased by the Balding family and turned into Steaksmith. Ralph and Jeanne Balding developed family recipes and culture that are still in effect and use today. The business was then sold in 2006, finally purchased by Dawson Hubert in 2008, the property is still owned by _______ family. Steaksmith offers top quality cuts of meat at competitive prices. Steaksmith currently does not have a mission statement but Mr. Hubert believes that “make what we have the best we can make it.” Mr. Hubert tries to model Steaksmith after Nordstrom’s; customer satisfaction is a must if you want to be successful. The business goal is to “survive, thrive, and grow,” this is what Dawson believes is the key to running a successful food establishment.
