This is an approximate, simpli- fied model of a transistor which is of cen- tral importance to modern circuit design. (a) Find the impedance (z-), admittance (y-), and hybrid (h-) parameters for this 2-port network. Note : Find each set of parameters from first principle i.e. do not use transformations from one set to another. (10 x 3 = 30 points) Problem 2 (was Problem #4 in Hw #6): Refer to Figure 2 for this problem. Operate in the Lap- lace domain. (a) Determine the a-parameters for the network shown in Fig. 2(a). (b) Express the a-parameters of the network in Fig. 2(b) in terms of the a-parameters of the net- work in Fig. 2(a). (c) Express the a-parameters of the network in Fig. 2(c) in terms of the a-parameters of the net- work in Fig. 2(a).
