Obtaining Your Company’s Financial Statements NOTE: DO NOT PRINT THE ENTIRE DOCUMENT. It is too big. Follow the directions carefully and only print the documents requested. Later this summer you will be able to navigate through the document by using the find feature to search through the document for further requested information. 1) Select a PUBLIC company that interests you (it can be a company in your field of study, a prospective investment, or just a company of interest). They must be publicly traded on a US stock exchange. 2) Go to SEC’s website ( http://www.sec.gov ) and click on “Search for Company Filings” in the middle of the page. 3) Click on “Company or fund name, ticker symbol…” 4) Type in the company name or the ticker symbol (can be found by typing the companies name into Google. If it is a public company the ticker symbol will be under the search results. Note: the name you use to search has to be exactly as it is listed with the SEC. If you are having trouble finding the
