Terry Crew 6/27/2010 Argument Analysis ENG 112 The piece that I found for use was a comercial for Quizno's Subs that began airing in 2004. The commercial features internet icons - two rodents with human mouths. One is singing, while the other one strums on a guitar. The two are officially known as the Sponmonkeys, and have had several other appearences on VH1. The song that they sang in the Quizno's song is as follows; "We love the subs, Cause they are good to us, The Quizno's subs, They are tasty, They are crunchy, They are warm because they toast them! [Pause] They got a pepper bar!' (Youtube)

And then this is completed by a normal commercial emphasizing the new subs that Quizno's has to offer. The randomness of this ad, combined with the visual depiction of the rodents, either infatuated or disgusted fans. The commercials actually only played for a few months, before advertising agents pulled the ad from circulation due to mixed results. As the comments on the video show, people either loved Quiznos and went there because of it, or hated it and never wanted to even think of eating it. Those who liked the ad, say that it is creative and original.
