ADMS4900 MID-TERM EXAM INFORMATION The mid-term exam for all fall sections of ADMS4900 is being held on Saturday, February 12 th between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM. The following information will help you prepare for the exam and will provide other exam particulars. The Exam will be held in Accolade West 005 and 109. Specific room assignments are as follows: ACW Course Sections Assigned to Room Instructors 005 Sections Chuang 109 Sections Patterson, Spano, Kerr You must be sure that you attend the correct room on exam day! You should also plan on being at the room by 9:15 AM so that you have the full 2 hours to complete the exam. Students with legitimate and appropriately documented* reasons for missing their mid-term exam shall be entitled to write a make-up/alternate exam on Thursday, February 17 th between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. No further extensions shall be granted. [* For students claiming illness, an Attending Physician’s Statement is required (i.e. a ‘doctor’s note’ is insufficient). For students with work conflicts, a note from your employer on company letter head will suffice. Students requiring religious accommodations or with confirmed class conflicts must make arrangements with their instructor no later than February 7 th ] The exam is closed book [no dictionaries or electronic devices of any kind are permitted] and will consist of two parts as follows: PART 1: will consist of 25 multiple choice questions worth one mark each. These questions will be drawn directly from, and limited to, the material covered in chapters 1 through 6 of the textbook. In general, each chapter will be equally represented in the multiple choice questions (i.e. about 4 questions per chapter). PART 2: will consist of 8 short answer questions of which you will be asked to answer any 7
