ENTC 219 Lab 2: Instructions: Now that you have had experience with program the Spartan 3E with simple digital logic you will now use your knowledge from class to program a seven segment display. You will use the truth table given in this document to develop your code and successfully implement the use of a seven segment display. This will be an exercise in making sure you pay attention to how you wire your circuit and an exercise in debugging if you run into an error. Before you plug in the seven segment display you will need to first POWER OFF the Spartan 3E. Refer to the Seven Segment Display Section below for information on how to plug in and use the Seven Segment Display. To successfully complete this lab you will have to complete these tasks in order. Out of the seven outputs you will create 3 SOP Circuits, 3 POS Circuits, and the last output is your choice. Create the whole circuit in LabVIEW and run the program. Connect your Outputs to LEDs as well as Expansion Connectors.
