Please refer to graph alongside (published in the Economist on 22 nd November 2010) Ford motor company is applying CRM by listening, engaging and refining its products with social consumers on a large scale. I t is using CRM to change its image, and driving towards aOne Ford global design and development strategy. Ford was named marketer of the year by Advertising age. I t is now making a profit (Economist, 9 th December 2010) .. Ford launched its fiesta subcompact on the blogs, tweets and Facebook updates of 100 people who lived with the cars and shared theirs experience online. I t invited dozens of 20-somethings to live with the care for six months and tell the world about it....
