Unformatted text preview: L ab 4 Connor Downie B02 I tem 1 I n this lab I learned that you are able to simplify some sketches by using the sweep tool instead of using an emboss tool and t hen using a tool to cut the shape into a rounded form. This can often take a lot of t ime. Using the sweep tool, you make a sketch of what you want it to look like, then a sketch of what kind of thickness you want, and you’re done. I tem 2 I n this one I learned that i t is possible to set up shapes that no matter how you modify them, the holes and other shapes that I add to the shape will always be in the place that I need them to be. That way if I increase the size, decrease the size, stretch it, or anything else, it will always be exactly in the r ight place. I tem 3 I tem 4 My ice cream cone is like most others, it has the same shape and function. I t utilizes r ibs to give it structural support that a llows it to be lightweight yet still strong. Mine also has a kind of grip along the lower half that gives it texture as well as some sort of grip. I t also makes it look unique compared to all other cones. ...
