Featured speakers will include: Brenda L. Thomas, author of Laying Down My Burdens; Carolyn West, Ph.D., a scholar specializing in violence in the lives of black women; and Mildred Muhammad, former wife of the ‘DC Sniper’ John Allen Muhammad.
