In the book The Hiding Place, two sisters are sent to a Concentration Camp for helping Jews. While they are at the Concentration Camp they go through many difficult situations. The Lord helps Betsie and Corrie through the hard times and provides them with everything they need. Betsie and Corrie go through many terrible things but some how they still kept their faith in the Lord and gave thanks in all things. Most of the things Betsie and Corrie give thanks for are very hard to imagine giving thanks for like the jammed, crammed, stuffed, packed, suffocating crowds, the lice, and most of all the fleas. The easy things they could give thanks for was that Betsie and Corrie were together, all the things the Lord had helped them with, and the way everything worked out in the right time. Betsie and Corie were both very strong Christians and gave thanks in all circumstances. I look up to Betsie and Corrie and I think it is amazing for all the times they gave thanks. I want to be more like Betsie and Corrie and learn
