Toby Young is a British journalist, author, and critic. He was born in Buckinghamshire, England, UK. He was a columnist for Vanity Fair and the New York press. He is currently Associate Editor of the Spectator and also writes for the independent on Sunday and the evening standard. He is the author of many articles including “How to lose friends and alienate people” which is a memoir about how he failed to make it in the US in five years.
