7 DIMENSIONS OF ABA2IntroductionBefore the establishment of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), the study of behavior had struggled to establish itself as a science due to it at once being difficult to measure and observe behavior in an experimental fashion. It wasn’t until Baer, Wolf, and Risley (1968) introduced the seven dimensions of ABA that the study of behavior was more acknowledged as ascience, due to the dimensions making the study of behavior a more reliable and valid platform. Baer, Wolf, and Risley’s (1968) seven dimension of ABA includes the following characteristics of ABA: applied, behavioral, effective, analytic, technological, generality, and conceptually systematic.
