Abstract Based on the visions statement provided by Wells Fargo, Hilton Hotels Corporation, H.J. Heinz Company, and Chevron, I rank Chevron as having the strongest vision Wells Fargo having the weakest. All of the companies have a positive outlook for “where they want to be” in their specific industries, but some were too vague and didn’t have strategic objective goals set. Chevron has developed a strategic vision based on the company’s performance and capabilities. Wells Fargo, on the other hand has a weak strategic vision. Wells Fargo wants to be the “premier provider of financial services” but doesn’t have a sound vision on how the company is going to get there. (Constandse, 2004-2010 ) (Tatum, 2011)
